Life-Saving Dialysis Care in Palestine

As part of HANAN's global humanitarian response, our Dialysis Program in Palestine addresses one of the most urgent medical crises in the region. Thousands of patients depend on regular dialysis treatments to survive, but ongoing conflict, limited resources, and disrupted healthcare systems place these patients at constant risk. We ensure continued access to critical, life-sustaining care for the most vulnerable.

Ongoing dialysis treatments for chronic kidney patients
Support for local medical facilities and providers
Continuity of care despite instability

For patients with chronic kidney failure, dialysis isn't optional—it's the difference between life and death. Without regular treatments, toxins build up in the bloodstream, leading to organ failure within days.

In Palestine, access to this critical care is fragile. Hospitals face equipment shortages, power outages, and supply chain disruptions. Many patients struggle to reach treatment centers due to movement restrictions and conflict.

HANAN's Dialysis Program provides continuity of care when systems fail. We support local medical facilities, ensure treatment supplies reach patients, and maintain the infrastructure that keeps dialysis centers running—even in crisis.

Why Global Programs Matter

Displacement and humanitarian crises require multi-year, locally informed solutions across multiple countries and regions. When families are forced to flee their homes due to conflict, persecution, or disaster, their needs extend far beyond immediate emergency relief. Vulnerable communities worldwide face complex, interconnected challenges: disrupted livelihoods, limited access to healthcare and education, food insecurity, and the trauma of loss and uncertainty.

One-time aid is insufficient without continuity. HANAN's Global Programs recognize that sustainable recovery requires ongoing care, cultural sensitivity, and deep partnerships with local organizations who understand the unique context of each community we serve—no matter where they are.

Across the globe, displaced families and vulnerable communities require sustained, multi-year support to regain stability, safety, and economic independence.
